Whilst working as part of the Music TV team at BBC Worldwide, I acted as design lead for the international cinema and DVD release of Beyonce’s documentary ‘Life is But a Dream’. We developed a social media and OOH campaign to promote the film’s broadcast on channels worldwide, including HBO and BBC One. We also produced trailers and social media promos to advertise the film’s cinema release on theatres worldwide, as well as its following DVD release.
The film broadcasted in 20 territories outside the U.S., becoming the most watched music documentary in the UK in 2013, breaking viewing records on BBC One during the night of the broadcast. It also became the most successful DVD release in 2013, outselling Coldplay and One Direction’s releases that same year.
